“the Golden Leave” is newly plant of the world which scientific name is “Bauhinia aureifalia” This is has been found at Pajo Waterfall, the National Park of Khao Budo-Sungaipadi, Bajoh Subdistrict, Narathiwat Province and known as “Yahn Da Oh” The Golden Leave has been given to H.R.H. Princess Sirindhorn, then sending to the laboratory The Denmark for scientific method then announce that this is newly plant of the world by Professor Kai Larsen, the Botanist of the Netherlands on A.D. 1989 and printing in Nodic Journal of Botany Vol. 9 No. 3 page of 253-256.
There are consisting of 3 colors which are Gold, Bronze, Red Gold =Alloy of Gold and Coper. And believe that this is lucky leave that will provide the good luck and wellness for everlasting to the owner. 2. Golden Leaf which is locate on the top of the plant, it will be violet when were young and become Red Copper when grow up.The last phase will be become Bronze and will be lost freshness. You will notice that the Golden Phase will be on June –July for every year. The plant which is given Golden Leaf phase will not less than of 5 years old or more.
Flower : White Color, one bunch consisting of 10 flowers, good smell, this is will blossom yearly on October-February
Fruit : The pod is look like sward, 20-23 cms .size, red hairy surface and delicate. Flat seed straight line through the center of a circle is 2.5-2.6 cms. One pod containing of 4-6 seeds.
